CONSTRUCTIONS

The construction sector has really woken up to the significant advancements that digital technology such as biometrics can offer them. Construction site access requirements protects the public during construction and also other workers who may be affected by the work at construction site.

Proximity tags and swipe cards are therefore not suitable for personnel management in these areas.

Proximity tags and swipe cards are therefore not suitable for personnel management in these areas.

  • CCTV
  • Elevator Control System
  • Boom Barrier
  • Bollard
  • Access Control System
  • Biometric Attendance System

Facial recognition systems are ideally suited for construction site access control as the use of proximity tags and swipe cards are inefficient and unsuitable in such working environments.

Bollard - A bollard is a short post used to create a protective or architectural perimeter. When installed primarily as a visual guide, bollards guide traffic and mark boundaries. Bollards can also be constructed to physically block vehicle incursion, protecting people and property.

Boom Barrier –also known as a boom gate, is a bar, or pole pivoted to allow the boom to block vehicular or pedestrian access through a controlled point An boom barrier can be operated through:

  • Push button
  • Remote control
  • RFID tags / RFID reader
  • Loop detectors
  • Opto-electronic sensors
  • Any third party access control device

Elevator Control system - a system to control the elevators, either manual or automatic. The controller usually tune down the voltage between 12V to 24V to the controlling system.

Always remember, all accidents are preventable..!!
